The Material Came First. The Company Followed.
Carbonaurum is a B2B forged carbon fiber manufacturer focused on colored forged carbon fiber sheets, tubes, blocks, ring blanks, and custom carbon fiber components for brands, designers, and manufacturers worldwide.
Born from a Jewelry Manufacturing Challenge
Our founder, Kammy, entered the jewelry industry in 2006. Over the years, she built long-term relationships with European and American brands through consistent quality, reliable delivery, and a practical understanding of what premium product manufacturing requires.
In 2020, one of those long-standing brand partners asked a question that would change the direction of the business: could we produce forged carbon fiber jewelry? This question later became the foundation for our related jewelry application brand, Ringentle, where colored forged carbon fiber is developed into finished jewelry products.
At the time, the honest answer was no. But that was not the end of the conversation.
Kammy began visiting carbon fiber manufacturers across China, asking whether they could help develop a forged carbon fiber material specifically engineered for jewelry — small tolerances, clean machining, stable surface quality, and consistent pattern control.
Most factories were not interested. The application was too specialized, and the volumes were too small for their production lines. A few tried, but none could produce the pattern quality and stability the application required.
Faced with that reality, Kammy made the decision that defined everything that came after: if no one would build it for her, she would build it herself.
From Ring Blanks to a Forged Carbon Fiber Material System
The first step was the simplest possible geometry: ring blanks and rod stock. The question was how to produce forged carbon fiber that could machine cleanly, hold its pattern through the turning process, and look unlike anything else on the market.
What followed was years of research, mold investment, failed experiments, process refinement, and repeated testing. In 2024, after years of development, Carbonaurum achieved stable production of natural-color forged carbon fiber rod stock — and with it, reliable large-batch production of forged carbon fiber rings.
From rod stock, the material expanded into forged carbon fiber sheets, colored carbon fiber blocks, tubes, finished components, and broader industrial design applications.
Why We Built Color into the Material
Standard forged carbon fiber is black. Its marble-like surface pattern shifts between deep gray and near-black tones as light reflects from individual carbon filaments. It is a striking material — but for many product designers, black alone is not enough.
Kammy began experimenting with pigments, metallic elements, structural colorants, resin systems, and compression parameters to understand how color could survive the same heat and pressure used to form forged carbon fiber.
Some combinations failed. Some were unstable across production batches. Some worked.
The name Carbonaurum came from one of those experiments: black carbon combined with gold leaf integrated directly into the compression molding process. Carbo for carbon. Aurum, the Latin word for gold.
Today, color development remains one of our core research activities. For brands and manufacturers, this means forged carbon fiber is no longer limited to black. It can become part of a product’s color identity.

From Jewelry to Many Fields
Our first breakthrough came from jewelry. Through Ringentle forged carbon fiber jewelry, we continue to explore how colored forged carbon fiber performs in rings, bracelets, pendants, and premium accessories. But the same qualities that make the material valuable in jewelry — light weight, strength, pattern uniqueness, color possibility, and premium surface quality — also make it relevant in many other categories.
Jewelry & Accessories
Rings, pendants, bracelets, cufflinks, money clips, and other premium small components.
Watches
Bezels, dials, case components, inserts, and decorative technical material elements.
Consumer Electronics
Phone cases, earphone housings, laptop covers, device shells, and visual identity panels.
Automotive Interiors
Trim panels, accent parts, decorative inserts, gear components, and custom interior pieces.
Knives, Tools & EDC
Handle scales, decorative panels, lightweight grip components, and premium everyday-carry parts.
Eyewear & Writing Instruments
Frame components, inlays, high-end pen bodies, and limited-edition product details.
This is the meaning behind our direction: a spark that started in jewelry, then spread into every product category where material innovation, color, and uniqueness can create value.
Built to Last. Built to Be Green.
In an industry where offcuts and production waste are often accepted as the cost of doing business, we chose a different path.
Carbonaurum has begun operating a carbon fiber materials recycling program. Production waste — offcuts, failed panels, machining leftovers, and process scrap — is reclaimed and reprocessed where possible rather than simply discarded.
This is not a marketing position. It is a manufacturing commitment, driven by the same attention to material that has shaped Carbonaurum from the beginning.
We are not trying to be the largest factory. We are trying to be the most reliable forged carbon fiber material partner for customers who care about quality, honesty, and long-term development.
A Young Company in an Emerging Material Category
The problem began in jewelry.
A customer request pushed us into forged carbon fiber. The material needed for premium jewelry did not yet exist in the quality we required.
We developed the process ourselves.
Through years of testing, mold investment, process trials, and failed experiments, Carbonaurum built stable forged carbon fiber production capability from the ground up.
We expanded forged carbon fiber beyond black.
More than 50 color effects have been developed and validated for production, giving brands new freedom in material identity.
The spark is moving outward.
Jewelry was the beginning. Our next chapter is helping product designers, brands, and manufacturers bring forged carbon fiber into more industries and more applications.
If you are looking for a forged carbon fiber materials partner who will tell you the truth about what is possible, work through the problems that need solving, and deliver what they commit to — we would like to talk.
